William F. Mac Donald, Jr.

Bill Mac Donald brings extensive background and senior management expertise with over 38 years in the specialty chemical industry. From 1978 to 2008, he was CEO and Board Chairman of Houghton International, a worldwide leader in specialty chemicals for the metal working and other industrial sectors. He has served on the board of directors of PQ Corporation, Pennsylvania Hospital, and as a trustee of the Academy of Natural Sciences, World Affairs Council and the Eisenhower Fellowship. Other board assignments include the Mid-Atlantic Employers Association and the William Penn Charter School. Mr. Mac Donald’s initial concentration was in the financial side of business as he worked initially for Price Waterhouse after receiving an MBA from Stanford. His undergraduate degree is from Yale University. Bill has extensive experience in operations, as well as developing overseas markets.
