Stuart M. Bryan

Stuart Bryan has spent over 20 years running a number of middle market manufacturing companies that were experiencing moderate to significant operating problems. By focusing on improved manufacturing processes, stronger project management skills, control over financial operations, more aggressive sales and marketing planning and execution and expanded employee communications programs, these companies have been able to show dramatic improvements in a range of operating results, increased enterprise values and have improved their positions in their respective marketplaces.

His early career included time as an associate at McKinsey & Company. Subsequently, as an Executive Vice President, President and/or CEO, he led companies that made explosives, large industrial gears, cleaning chemicals, analytical instrumentation, porcelain coatings, specialized lift trucks, lawn and garden equipment and artificial flowers and greenery. These operating engagements also included a number of acquisitions, divestitures and recapitalizations. Stuart also has a close working relationship with Chesapeake Consulting, a group that focuses on operations improvement techniques (including theory of constraints, ‘lean’ manufacturing, ‘5S’ and Six Sigma) and leadership development.

Stuart earned his BA degree in Economics from Harvard College and subsequently earned his MBA at Harvard Business School. He currently serves on the Boards of Cord Crafts, LLC, Princeton Energy Systems and is a past Board member and Treasurer of the Commonwealth Youthchoirs, a nationally known choral group for youth ages 8 – 18.
